The Career Center offers a number of graduate assistantships associated with various aspects of the Center’s services and programs. While graduate assistants (GA's) may have “unit” specific responsibilities, they are also expected to help with a variety of activities, including career expo coverage, outreach programs, New Student Preview, summer orientation, teaching the career planning class, developing resource materials, etc. GAs should work with their supervisor(s) to best determine how their time will be allocated each semester and which projects and activities should take priority at certain times of the year. Students interested in a particular graduate assistantship should contact the appropriate supervisor(s) listed below. Note: Throughout the year the Career Center typically has a variety of OPS positions which are targeted at graduate students or in some cases where graduate or undergraduate students may be considered. These include positions related to the career library, student employment, technology applications, and Center publications and promotions. These are hourly wage positions and do not include a tuition waiver. Applicants for any of the assistantships listed below should submit a GA application, resume, and cover letter to the appropriate supervisor and any other requested materials (e.g., semester schedule, etc.).
