Jobs / Internships

Walt Disney College Program; Intern; Summer, 1999
Primary responsibility was serving as a cast member of the Jungle Cruise; also was assigned to the Disney Public Relations Department one day per week assisting in the development of press releases and design/development of a brochure associated with Disney's employment opportunities and hiring practices of minority group members in the Orlando area.

Service / Volunteer Work

Habitat for Humanity, Tallahassee, Florida; Volunteer; Fall, 1997-Spring, 1998
Assisted in developing the interior design/décor plan including interior and exterior paint colors, wallpaper, carpet and other floor covering selection as well as landscaping design for a single family home built in the Tallahassee area; also assisted in the interior painting.

Memberships / Activities

Delta Chi Social Fraternity; Florida State University; Vice President; 1997-1999
As Vice President, created and coordinated a fund raising campaign to solicit alumni donations for housing improvements to the Fraternity; created a brochure sent to alumni including photographs of the renovated house exterior made possible through past alumni support and described present interior housing improvement needs.

Interests / Life Experiences

Orientation Leader; Office of the Dean of Students; The Florida State University, 1998-1999
Served as a student member on the Orientation Publicity Committee; designed the ads associated with Fall, 1998 Orientation week activities included in the student newspaper-FSView/Florida Flambeau.

Amateur Photographer; photographs of Costa Rica landscape taken during a study abroad program during Spring, 1998 won second place in the Tallahassee Festival of the Arts and were shown as a student exhibit in the Florida State University Student Union during the fall semester, 1999.
