The Professional Network is a database within SeminoleLink of employers and Florida State University (FSU) alumni and friends who have volunteered to provide career, industry and employment information to current students and alumni.
How do I access the Professional Network SeminoleLink?
• Go to career.fsu.edu
• Click on SeminoleLink
under career tools
• Click on Student and Alumni Login
• Enter your FSU ID and password
• Click on the networking tab
What questions do I ask the volunteers?
We suggest that before contacting volunteers about a career field or industry, you research it on your own so that you appear informed and can ask effective questions. Please note the manner in which the volunteer wishes to be contacted, and be respectful of that request. For more information, take a look at our Guide to Information Interviews.
What should I do after I talk to a volunteer?
It is good business protocol to send contacts a thank-you letter after they provide you with any assistance.
What if a volunteer's contact information is incorrect?
If you discover that any of the information contained in this database is incorrect, please note the error and send an email to careermail@admin.fsu.edu so that we may correct the problem.
