PROFESSIONAL  EXPERIENCE:

 

2006- 2007          Interim Department Chair, Department of Educational Psychology and Learning Systems.  Lead and manage a department of 30 faculty and over 300 graduate students.  Administer a budget of over $500,000 in Other Personnel Expenses and Expense. Oversee class scheduling and fee waivers.  Supervise Associate Department Chair, three area coordinators and a clerical staff of four. Hire new faculty and conduct annual evaluation of extant faculty.  Report to the Dean of the College of Education and carry out assigned duties in addition to the above.  Maintain half-time assignment as professor of Counseling Psychology and School Psychology.

 

1994 – 2006         Professor of Counseling Psychology and School Psychology, College of Edu-

Functions include test development, program evaluation, curriculum development, and assessment of human performance.

1970 - 1972          Senior Counselor, Duke University Counseling Center.  Counsel students with

educational, vocational and personal problems.  Super­vise interns and practicum students.  Serve as consultant evaluator for Summer Transitional Program for African-American students and consultant for the establishment of selection criteria for Duke University paramedical programs.

selor under the supervision of the Director of the Center, a diplomate in the American Psychological Association.
