Searching for a job can be an intimidating and stressful task for many people. Below are some simple steps which include links to valuable resources and services to help you start!

  1. Establish a career objective by talking with a career advisor at the FSU Career Center.
  2. Write or revise your resume to match this objective.
  3. Write a draft of a cover letter that you can use when you send your resume to employers.
  4. Get your resume and cover letter critiqued by a career advisor.
  5. Find open positions using Career Placement Services (CPS).
  6. Prepare yourself for job interviews by researching employers and mock interviewing.
