Career Portfolio Contest Winners

The Career Center held the third Career Portfolio Contest this past fall. This year's judges (employers and FSU faculty/administration) reviewed top entries to identify the highest quality portfolios. Congratulations to our winners!!

First Place Graduate Portfolio – Vibhakar Yashaswi

Vibhakar is in his second year in the MBA program at the FSU College of Business. He plans to graduate this fall and apply his IT consulting and MBA knowledge in strategic/management consulting to help businesses perform better.

First Place Undergraduate Portfolio - Meghan Mills

Meghan will be graduating this spring with a B.A. in French with a concentration in Finance, and minors in International Affairs and Spanish. She is moving to Charlotte, NC, to work for Wachovia's Compliance Risk Management group. She hopes to assist her future employers in the development and growth of their international endeavors, utilizing her financial and linguistic training.

Second Place - Kelly Alvarez

Kelly is in her second and final year of graduate training in the FSU Department of Communication. She will be graduating with her M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communication with an emphasis in Hispanic Marketing. In April, she will be one of three people in the U.S. with this distinction and certification. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career with an in-house multicultural marketing department.

Third Place - Shannon Price

Shannon is a senior at the new FSU College of Medicine, graduating with her M.D. degree in May. She is pursuing a residency in OB/GYN and plans to return to her hometown of Perry, FL to establish a practice in 2010 upon graduation.
