Portfolio Contest WINNERS!

The Career Center held the fifth Career Portfolio Contest this past fall. This year's judges (employers and FSU faculty/administration) reviewed top entries to identify the highest quality portfolios. Congratulations to our winners!!

First Place Graduate Portfolio – Aziza Arifkhanova

Aziza is a first-year master's student in Economics. She would like to continue with her studies in graduate school. Her career goal is to contribute to the development and understanding of the salient issues in the fields she plans to study.

First Place Undergraduate Portfolio - Katy Keene

Katy is a senior and is double majoring in Marketing and Management. Her emphasis is in Sales and Customer Relationship Management within her Marketing degree. Upon graduation she plans to obtain a successful sales position, and in the future plans to further her education by pursuing a Master's of Business Administration.

Career Portfolio

Second Place - Grace Chi

Grace is a senior and is majoring in Finance, Real Estate, and Risk Management and Insurance. She is also pursuing a minor in French. Upon graduation, Grace plans to move to Houston, TX to use her finance skills in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas at a major oil company. Her position consists of working with engineers to collect data and to analyze which combination of production sites offer the company a greater return on its investment.

Career Portfolio

Third Place - Flore Chevaillier

Flore is a fifth-year PhD. student in English, specializing in Contemporary American Literature. She is currently teaching composition and literature classes at Florida State University, and hopes to obtain a position of Assistant Professor in a Department of English, American Studies, or Humanities in the near future.
