How did you first hear about job shadowing? What interested you in pursuing a job shadow opportunity?

I heard about FSUShadow program through a resume critique session I had at the Career Center. I went home that same day and did research of my own.

If you used any Career Center services, resources, or events to obtain your job shadow, what were they? How did they support you during pursuit of a job shadow?

The Career Center helped me achieve a stellar resume to make me a competitive candidate. In addition the Career Center exposed me to careers options fields that peaked my interest.

Did this experience help clarify your career path? If yes, how so?

This experience helped me clarify what I wanted to do within my career path. The law field has tons of options and directions to go in. I learned that I love aspects of defending clients and advocating for their rights.

What advice do you have for other FSU students interested in securing a job shadow experience?

APPLY, APPLY, APPLY! Even if you get a "no" it won't define your destiny.
