The Career Center invites alumni and friends of Florida State University to support graduate students preparing for professional positions in career counseling and human resources through career advisor scholarships. These scholarships support graduate students working in The Career Center and recognizes students who have made a commitment to career counseling, have outstanding academic records and work histories, and have the potential to provide leadership in career development and human resources.
In the past 20 years, The Career Center has awarded $191,293 in 125 scholarships to 82 different students, and in October 2015, $18,300 in scholarships was awarded to nine different students.
A gift to the endowed scholarship funds lives on. Only four percent of the interest earned from a gift is made available each year for scholarships; the remainder, along with the original gift, will contribute to another scholarship in the future.
