I spoke with my academic advisor about my interest in digital marketing and my desire to gain practical experience in the field. My academic advisor referred me to The NoleNetwork platform. I explored various internship positions and applied with ones that aligned with my career goals.

I prepared for this opportunity by updating my resume and cover letter to highlight my relevant skills and experiences.

In terms of Career Center services and resources, I attended a workshop on resume and cover letter writing to help enhance my application materials. I also utilized the Career Center's job board to search for other internship opportunities in the digital marketing field.

Describe some of your responsibilities or duties during your experiential learning opportunity.

During my experiential learning opportunity, my responsibilities included conducting market research, creating and managing social media content, assisting with content strategy development, analyzing digital marketing campaigns, and providing recommendations for improvements.

What was a typical day like "on the job?"

A typical day on the job involved collaborating with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas for upcoming digital marketing campaigns, creating engaging social media posts, monitoring and analyzing website traffic, and attending meetings to discuss ongoing projects.

What are some major takeaways from your experience? How will these help prepare you for the next step after graduation?

Some major takeaways from my experience include gaining hands-on experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, understanding the importance of data analysis in evaluating campaign performance, and sharpening my communication and teamwork skills through collaboration with colleagues.
